The Mobile Help Units started off in October 1979 servicing and repairing motor vehicles at peoples home or place of work in a very short period of time. Gradually I slipped towards engine tuning and diagnostic work using all the old fashioned types of engine tuners that were available at the time.
Electronics have changed so fast in the last 30 years. Control units in vehicles have become a lot smaller and more reliable, although now the concensus of opinion within the motor trade is that the systems are far too over complicated. These E.C.U's also are not so easy to assign if you have to replace them in a troubled vehicle.
